Vacation Bible School 2017
Looking to spend a rewarding week with your children and friends? Hoping to give a little extra back this summer and receive something amazing in return? If either of these interest you then please consider being a adult leader for our Christ the King VBS program this summer!
Our annual event is scheduled for July 17-21. We need dedicated adults who will be available to lead the children in the educational programs. We are looking for teachers on break, parents who love to get all their service hours completed in a week, college students, mature high school students, and retired teachers and adults who enjoy working with children to join us this summer.
The best thing about our VBS program is that it is entirely scripted! That’s right, all you need to do is read the individual program for your station and you will be set! We need adult station leaders for the Opening and Closing programs, Preschool Program, Bible Discovery, Imagination Station, Game Maker, Snack Factory, and the KidVid Cinema, Registration and Setup Assistants. Please contact Theresa Maggiore at 217-899-0548 or email@example.com to learn more about the specific programs and to volunteer.
We will only be able to open up registration after we have all our adult volunteers secured.
Bonus Raffle Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to sell Bonus Raffle Tickets after Mass. This is an easy way to sell your tickets and earn service hours! Remember, for every 16 tickets a CTK family sells, they will be entered into a special $1,000 drawing on April 28th!
Trivia Night Volunteers
Thank you for volunteering for Trivia Night! Our next Trivia Night will be January of 2018
Cafeteria Volunteers Needed
The cafeteria is in need of volunteers to help out during lunch. The hours are from 10:40 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. The duties include helping serve food and wiping off the serving line and cafeteria tables after each lunch shift. Volunteers are needed on a weekly, bi-monthly or monthly basis or as a substitute to called as needed. A free lunch is provided to volunteers. Volunteering in the cafeteria is a great way to earn service hours, meet other parents and see firsthand how efficient our hot lunch program operates! If interested or have questions, please contact Mrs. Martin at 546-3711 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
