General Music                              Miss Katie Winson          Classroom Rules Welcome back!  This promises to be a great year making music at Christ the King.  Below you will find a few rules to help our lessons move smoothly and efficiently.                Rules                                                                                        Consequences ·        Bring your class supplies to every lesson                                                 ·        Verbal warning ·        Enter the classroom quickly and quietly                                                 ·        Lose of privileges ·        Respect your fellow students and the classroom materials                       ·        Private discussion with the teacher ·        Sit quietly- only speaking or playing when called on                               If behavioral problems persist: ·        Participate positively in classroom activities                                           ·        A letter will be sent home to be signed and returned the following day                                                                                                                                 ·        The student will be sent to the school office Grading                   Students will receive grades based on in-class participation, conduct and homework assignments (3rd-8th Grade).  Students in K-3rd Grade will be                    given  a number grade (1-5); students in 5th- 8th grade will receive a letter grade.  In addition students will receive a conduct grade for each class period:   +        Indicating very good participation and conduct *        Indicating good participation and conduct -                    Indicating poor participation and conduct                Supplies           Each student in the 3rd through 8th Grade must bring with them a two-pocket folder with brads, loose-leaf paper and a pencil.      Homework Assignments                      Helpful Websites           Class Mass Schedule
