2007 CTK Band Concert at White Oaks Mall
Great job on the concert!!! I was very proud of everyone. You played very well. Now, onto the next concert! We will be playing at the mall food court next week on Tuesday at 12:00. All parents are invited to come and support the band. I have the following down as helping to drive – Brian Miller, Linda Hardy, Brigid Thomas, Monica Harvatin, Liz Finney, Mary Beth Caldwell, Ilene Crabtree and Michelle Shudrowitz. If there is anyone else who wishes to drive that I have forgotten, please let me know. We will be leaving CTK at 11:25 and returning by 1:30. I will be sending home a permission slip with the kids on Thursday. This MUST be returned by Monday for your child to participate.
The band schedule for the next 2 weeks will run as follows:
Thursday: NO 5-2 band (SHG Encore will be at CTK)
Percussion 2:45 – 3:15
Friday: Full Advanced band 7:10 – 7:45
Monday: Full Advanced band 7:10 – 7:45
6th Grade Advanced Band 2:00 – 2:30
All Beginning Band 2:45 – 3:15
Tuesday: White Oaks Mall on December 18th, at 12:00.

We will leave CTK around 11:30 and return around 1:30. Advanced Band and Beginning Band will be performing at the food court. Students will need to bring money for a lunch or a sack lunch. Please come if you can on your lunch hour! I still need a few more drivers to help transport the kids and equipment. Please call or email me if you can help us out. |
Wednesday: No Band
Thursday: DONUTS!!! In the music room 7:30 – 7:50
Please remember to practice for the next week. Over break, you can lay back some, but you need to play to keep what you have already learned. Maybe some Christmas carols, or there are some fun books available at Samuels for every instrument. The important thing is to remember the skills that you have already learned. We will be playing pep band music, solo and ensemble music and more in the practice books when we return in January. Have a very Merry Christmas!
