WELCOME TO THE 2007 -2008 SCHOOL YEAR
Welcome: 8 – 2 RULES!!! Welcome to your graduating year at CTK. The Junior High Teachers promise to make this year very special for you. So many wonderful things will happen this year -- studying the constitution, confirmation preparation, and graduation. We will be working hard, playing hard (once the work is done), laughing, singing, praying, and deepening our friendships and relationship with God.
Our main goal in the 8th grade is to give you all the tools necessary for you to be the best student and person possible.
Mrs. Botz and I wish you success. Success stops only when you do.
REMINDERS...
We are all examples to the rest of the school!
You have 15 (that's half) of your service hours completed by the date of Confirmation. You need to be working on the other half now that you have received the sacrament. A total of 30 must be achieved before the last week of April in order to graduate.
Other: A huge thank you to Dr. Luker who provided the class with newspapers first quarter!!!
Another HUGE thank you to Dr & Mrs. Staten and Mr. & Mrs. Coffey for paying for everyone's class t-shirt; we are grateful for this very generous deed.
Yet another thank you to the Coffeys for generously donating our Christmas party meal.
EVERYONE PASSED THE FEDERAL & STATE CONSTITUTION TESTS!!!!!
To graduate all the students just have to pass all their classes now!
Please remember to pray for all our special intentions. Thank you.
MISC. -- be the first and only at your grade level to get 10 points extra credit! What President ate cottage cheese with ketchup as a snack? Write the question and answer on a piece of looseleaf with a proper heading.
