Classroom Rules 5-2

Rules

1. Follow the Golden Rule.

2. Listen when others are talking.

3. Follow directions. 

4. Work quietly and do not disturb others.

5. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

Rewards

1. Praise (Daily)

2. Whole class music time on Friday

3. Classroom Bucks which can be redeemed for:

          5 – Candy

         10 – Soda

         15 – Sit by a friend for a day

         20 – Buy out of a late paper

         25 – No homework pass

Consequences

1. Name on board = Warning

2. 1 checkmark = Loss of 10 min. of recess

3. 2 checkmarks = Loss of 20 min. of recess

4. 3 checkmarks = Loss of entire recess and a note home

Detentions may be given at any time.

*Bullying will not be tolerated.  Any student who hurts another child with words or actions, teases another child, engages in name-calling, etc. will be made to stay inside at recess writing an apology letter which will be taken home and signed by a parent, returned the next day and given to the victim.  Depending on the situation, a detention may also be given.
